Thread: what does N mean on valve stems

Upon closer inspection to the valve stem caps, the cap says N2 which to me indicates the tire is filled with nitrogen. Where can I go to get the tires topped up ? I'm assuming I can't mix regular air with nitrogen. Any suggestions ??
