But what a pain in the behind. I just read another post here about dealer problems, and I agree whole heartedly. I've got to find a new dealer, this one gives me the third degree - and a headache: Do I drive dirt roads? (Why? You won't replace them if I do?) Do I tow? (Again, why?) Tail gate? (C'mon, it only has 1600 miles, and I'm 68 years old)
I'm about fed up with the dealer, so I think it's time to switch.

Man those are some dumb questions to ask about the use of a truck. 1. its a truck should I be able to use it off pavement? 2. Its a truck isn't it supposed to be used for towing? I've had my Tundra for 2 months now and mine has 5800 miles on it and I haven't had any problems. I lucked out with the dealership I purchased my truck from, these guys jump through their own a** to get me answers to questions, and they stayed with me for the 4 months I was waiting for my Idaho National Guard Re-enlistment bonus. In that 4 months I had time to test drive other manufacturer's trucks and even after that 4 months I came back to Toyota, 1. because of the quality of the truck, and 2. because of the dealership. They didn't pressure me into buying stuff I didn't need, they were completely open and honest about accessories, optional equipment, and optional warranty extension and service contracts. This dealership also offers a free courtesy car while services are performed. I didn't need one as it only took them 45 minutes to do a complete service, tire rotation, and washed the truck and vacuumed the interior. Which is by far faster than Chevy was with my cobalt car I had, it took them 45 minutes just to change the oil, and they wanted $20 to rotate the tires even though I had the service contract. Oh, and they tried blaming me when the transmission failed in the Chevy cobalt at 16,000 miles due to a factory problem of a piece of the transmission was completely missing, and I wondered why sometimes I couldn't get the car into reverse or 1st gear.
Sorry about the long story, but I agree that you need a new dealership. They should be there to repair your vehicle not administer a lie-detector test when you walk in the door with a problem. There's a huge difference between a mechanical problem and a case of neglect or abuse.
