I'm about to get a 2008 Tundra LTD, and am planning to have a 6" ProComp lift installed right after the purchase. Your advice is badly needed on a few issues. First of all, this truck will be mostly used for highway and city driving, with very little off-road driving, and very little hauling/towing involved. Basically, I'll drive it most of the time as most people drive their daily cars...
First question: I was planning on a 4WD, but should I get a 2WD instead, considering my planned use of the vehicle and the 6" lift? Or does a 4WD still make sense? Pros and cons, please.
Also: my goal is to add great looking 20 in. rims and 37 in. tires, making the truck look just like in the picture shown below. Can you suggest specifically what rims and what tires would be the best deal, given my intended use, and compatible with a 6" lift?
How is the above going to affect fuel economy, approximately?
I am relatively new at this, so your constructive suggestions will be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Will
