From what I have heard, once the official merger takes place they will combine the stations that are similar. For example, both companies have a several "hits" stations, several "rock" stations, several country stations, etc... Then they will get omit some stations, add some, merge some, etc... They will more than likely keep the big names from both companies since those names bring in subscriptions. Only time will tell. I just hope they don't screw it up. I love my XM radio
I forgot to add.. If you already have XM or Sirius equipment, you will still be able to use you equipment. They will just phase out the old equipment for the new. If you have been paying attention, neither company has put out much new equipment in over a year. 2-3 years ago they were putting out new radios very frequently.
