As far as steps go I went for the AMP powersteps, they are flush when the door is closed and when you open the door the automatically extend to a step, my 2 year old climbs into the cab by herself with no problem, they are pricey, total price with the install was $1000 but that was my splurge item that I spent some of my tax retrun on
My truck bed is currently covered in line-x and a leer 700. The leer is nice, color matched to the truck but not as easy to take off, 6 bolts and you need two people to take it off. The bakflip was my second choice and still might pick one up if my buddy buys my leer of me
