My second gripe is the behavior of the cruise control with a towing load. Engine stays revved too high for too long in my opinion. I am only pulling 6-7K lbs from the bumper on the interstate. 75-80 mph. Easy to do. 
Third gripe is the tire inflation warning light coming on all the time. Tire inflation is within 1 psi measured with a good quality dial guage.
Fourth gripe is the mileage. I haven't seen 16 mpg yet. Really. 'Course I like the sound of her winding up so much, that's no wonder.  |
I had similar problem with the Cruise Control while pulling boat from Florida to Ohio. Turned off Cruise Control and trucked would comfortably shift from 4th gear to 3rd gear in the mountains. With Cruise Control "On" it would shift down to 2nd gear which really pushed up the RPM's. I am pulling 8k. Cruise works fine with 8K load on flat terrain.
