I guess these service managers are not real bright. I had my oil changed Fri on my 08 Tundra (only 800 miles) just because i always like to change oil early to get flashing/casting out since vehicle is new. Got the receipt ($38.55) for 8qts and filter change and you know it says Toyota specific 5w30...LOL

I am keeping the recipets just to take back and ask them if this is considered an alternative but i am not sweating it since i don't really want to pay $69 for a synthetic oil change. I never specified synthetic but i never "didn't" ask for it either - i guess i just figured they would used what the cap on the enginesays...LOL
