I agree with Polcat, I have a 2007 2wd 5.7 DC with 2200 miles and I just got back from a road trip to charlotte, nc (350 miles round trip) and I averaged 17.4 MPG at 75MPH. This was my first freeway road trip in the truck and I have to say that I, and my coworkers, were very pleased with the truck's performance, comfort and MPG. I do hope that it will get better as I rack up some mileage and perhaps some mods in the near future!

I know I need to ease into the throttle more off the line, but the sound and power is soooo nice!!! lol I hope after this month, when I make the 900 mile trip back, I see a better mpg.
