Help with pricing
Looking to purchase an "08 Tundra, which will actually be my first ever new car purchase. I'm looking @ the Tundra grade 4x2, slate metallic and debating on the 4.7 or the 5.7. I haven't gotten into pricing with the dealer yet, just did a test drive so far. I'm leaning to the 5.7 engine which the printout of the estimate pricing he gave me is:
MSRP $28906
options Toyoguard Protection $699 and Styled steel wheels $110=$909
Delv, proc and handling = $735
Dealer Fees= $459
Total = $31,009
Has a $3500 rebate with a sale sticker in the window for $25999 plus destination ( and I assume the tax and dealer prep, though it doesn't say)
I will probably need the take the special financing over the rebate so my question is what should I look to pay out the door for the truck without the rebate? Also any opinions on the 5.7 over the 4.7?
