Wiring issue like this are fairly easy. If all you need is a hot (ignition/constant) and a ground, you can catch that at just about any where you see something lit up. The hard part is taking apart the specific piece to get to the wire. Using a simple test light is the best way, or a multi meeter for the slightly advanced person to. Its when you get into needing relays for boost positive or negative, or a switch that runs through the ground first. That gets confusing. There are so many ways to wire up a relay, and so many different relay configurations out there. We dealt a lot with relays installing remote start alarms and amp kits, aftermarket blue tooth set ups with amps ect..
