They said the factory support is set back to far from the side which allows it to slide down on the passenger side. They told me they have been just fixing every truck that comes in with this issue even if the customer isn't complaining.

In 76-77 we called it "Dum-Dum" it was 3M Strip calk. It would stop all rattles.
