I'm thinking of towing my ~7000 lb trailer with my 07 5.7 Tundra (tow package included).

I need to know roughly how many inches I should "make" my truck's bed to drop when I hook the trailer up to it. This will help me determine which trailer hitch tongue to buy.

If I know how much the bed should drop, I can pick the right tongue that will cause that drop - if that makes sense.

By tongue I mean the metal object the trailer hitch ball attaches to.

I'll have perhaps 200 lbs in the bed of misc. gear.
