I just installed my K&N 77 series today, purchased it off ebay new for $239 + $20 shipping. Anyway, I'm not very mechanically inclined so instead of taking the quoted 90 minutes, it took me about 2 hours, but I was being very methodical to not hose up my new 5.7. Took it out for a test drive and what a difference in sound and perceived power! I was a little disapointed by the gap between the intake tube and the hole in the heat shield, I've emailed K&N to see what their remedy is.
