I hooked mine up to XM. I'm sure the radio is programed to take satellite. Yes the truck is prewired underneath. Look under your driver's side rear bumper and you will see a white connection plug.
Sorry wrong side. Passenger side. Your wiring will run through your tailgate come out at the bottom where the square hole and run into the square hole of the rear end of truck. Look underneath where square hole is and you see plug. ON console your plug is to the left in front.
