Any ideas??
The Tundra double cab has a 6 1/2 foot bed not a 5.5 bed. The Crew Max has the 5.5 foot bed. I see lots and lots of people towing goose necks with short bed trucks of all different makes. I have never seen one with an extension that I can remember. I towed a goose neck with my 01 Dodge short bed and had no issues. Same bed length as the Tundra Double Cab, 6.5 feet. Figure out where the ball in the bed will be placed. Then measure diagonally from the trailer neck to the leading left or right edge of the trailer. Then see if you have clearence for the cab from the ball.
