I went through this when I lifted the wifes FJ. some pretty wild stories about dealers telling folks that the speedo will 'self calibrate'
the truth (with the FJ anyway) is that the speedo from the factory reads a little low so after the bigger rubber (285s on our FJ) went on the speedo was only off by a couple of km/h at 100 km/h. unless the Tundra has some GPS system to calibrate and adjust for the different sized rubber the speedo WILL read different (depending if you went larger or smaller tire diameter).
