[Nemire12]

I have LT305/65/r18 BFGoodrich all terrain tires on my Tundra and they look great in my opinion. However, a repair-shop-guy asked me how they were wearing. I said, "actually, with just 6k miles and have seen a pretty significant amount of tread loss". He told me it was because the compound used to make this tire is really soft. I've priced them out at around $1200(set of 4)!! and I can't imagine getting 40k miles out of these tires. Does anyone know of another tire manufacturer that makes this size and is worth the money? I appreciate all the help.
