So just for those searching this forum in the future:

The 2007/2008 Tundra that you got (with remote lock feature) already has an alarm installed but it is not activated. If you purchase the "Glass breakage sensor", the dealer will have to activate the alarm (for a fee). You do not even need to purchase the GBS, you can just have them activate your alarm. You can always install the GBS at a later date (~$110).

All 2007/2008 Tundras have an alarm, Toyota dealers need some $$$ from you to make it work.
