I talked at length with the service manager, and he too mentioned about the computer waiting until it was of proper temperature to shift into OD. It shifts perfectly when it is cold, and only on occasion does this when it is warmed up. It just burns a lot more fuel when you're cruising at 3500rpm rather than 2000 for a couple miles before glancing at the tach and forcing it into 6th. No lights ever flash either. Until I can replicate it, the service manager said that they can't do anything, but as soon as I can demonstrate to them the problem, they'll figure out the problem for me. Until then, it's rather frustrating.
