That attitude has been integrated into the "Big 3" for decades. I dealt with it with GM in the 80's and early 90's. Dodge in the mid to late 90's. I have been "burned" so many times in the past, I will probably only buy Toyota's (My wife only Honda's) from now on. It's the attitude I get from the service dealership's that burns my ass! Detroit has some great looking cars, with good performance, but they wear you down nickle and dimin' over little (sometimes not so little) crap that should be covered on warranty. The " Don't give a shit" attitude is what has turned me off. Yeah- they got me for a few bucks here and there.....but my last three new vehicles: 2000 4Runner, 2003 Accord and of course an 07 Tundra. I actually don't give a shit when I see a GM plant closing or them on strike somewhere. I know long term, I should care....but I realize that it is that "attitude" towards me as a customer that is causing them to lose ground to foreign car makers. They really don't give a shit.....and My Rant is Over!
