I've been reading some other sights on different year tundra's and tacos for that matter. What I'm hearing is that there were quite a few bugs in the earlier models - 2001/2002 maybe. It was suggested they got the problems worked out in 2003. Others suggest - not to worry. Just noise.

But another thing that's been suggested is that the frames changed. Meaning at some point they made the frames on the Tundra and maybe the taco more "car" like - that they actually had to open up bed, fender and door tollerances because they might have had a crunch sit with the flex?? Did they take car-like shortcuts on the Tundra they didn't on the Taco and end up with a truck that falls short of Taco toughness?

So - looking to see if there is any comparison between the different years. Same with wheel base and bed length? Any good single page comparison charts - extra-cab, vs crew... year to year?
