I know a few people have made their own boxes using the MDF board and they have to shim the rear seat to keep it from touching the woofer. so if your good with glass I would build your own with glass since glass is alot thinner then wood you should have no problems with fitting a shallow sub back there, and you probally wouldnt have to shim the seats either.
