no. although you might be able to rig it to do it. I don't know anything about the video ipod so I can't really help you there. I have an iphone, but from I can tell, it doesn't support the video out function that the video ipods do. But it certainly isn't cheap. Take a look here at
Toyota/Lexus Audio,Video and Information Solutions (Lexus Auxiliary input,Lexus iPod integration,Lexus XM integration) they are the only company, as far as I can tell, that have a device that supports video out. It hooks directly to the ipod video. I don't have too many videos on my iphone anyways, though it'd be just a cool item to have if it did support iphone video. The price is what keeps me from even having it to try out. 300 bucks, plus if I had to buy a video ipod... just ends up not being worth it. another route is it looks like they make something for you to attach any RCA cable, in which case you can install a dvd player and that would work too. I don't know if you'd be able to control the dvd player through the screen though somehow I doubt that would be possible. If any of you guys go with that device, let me know how it goes.
