Thumbs up Yup, I would buy again

Bought mine in July. double cab 4x4 5.7L.

Took the family and trailer out camping within 4 days of buying. Handles like a dream. After 4 months, I can say I would still buy it again. However, there are a couple of things.

The seat click makes me nuts. Talked to the dealer and have to have the truck in to get that taken care of. The other thing that I am not sure about is the tranny.

I find that if I am rolling at low speeds and let off the gas, when I then slowly step on the gas the tranny waits a couple of seconds before there is power to the wheels. In a Dodge 1500, this means it is time to buy a new Tundra; especially when your truck, trailer and family start going backwards down a hill because the tranny is slipping so badly.

I have to try this out some more and see if I can figure out what is going on here.

However, I still recommended my brother in law to buy one (he got a crewmax). I have not seen the problem with the tailgate yet.
