I went with the upgrded JBL in the DC and I love it. Of course you don't have the BOOM BOOM that breaks windows as you drive down the street, but for a factory systems, it is much better than the upgraded system I had in my Lariat.
Another plus to the JBL system is that you can install either Sat Radio option and still use your factory controls as well as display all text from the stations. You still have access to steering wheel controls.
My main factor in choosing this over the upgrade aftermarkaet was price. By the time I go out and purchase head unit, 10 pseakers, amp, sat radio, and steering wheel controls I would be over what Toyota is charging me for the JBL system. It also looks better than an adapter plate that I would have to use for after market systems.
