Yes, the bed was completely empty and I was not towing. I drove over the same 5 mile stretch of freeway with waves in the concrete, and no major bounce like it did without the Super Springs, just a little shake like you'd see in any truck given the same road conditions.
These things are awesome, and I don't usually get that excited about a product. I have a TRD rear sway bar on order and I'll probably cancel it because I can't imagine it would do that much more than these springs have already done to reduce the rear end sway.
The manufacture touts these springs in their advertising as a 3-in-1 product; a replacement for an Air-Ride system, rear sway bar and helper springs. They're said to improve stability and control by 30%, and they do just that.
A very sweet product!
