I got the same error message and it turned out to be the new locking gas cap I installed... Just didn't screw the thing down tight enough. The dealer told me the Tundras are very sensitive to all their sensors. I guess he was right.
The other thing he told me is unfortunately once the light comes on, you need to go to the dealer to have them shut it off. That is unless you have an error code reader with a reset on it, which I fortunately have.
