It feels like it's occuring somewhere between mid-chassis to rearend. I eliminated brakes or pad hangup since I let the truck begin to roll slightly before I give it the gas. Anyone else experience this problem?

Yes. I had this with my truck, but it went away completely at around 2,000 miles on the odo. I was just reading on a different forum that it has to do with the slip yoke having too much or too little grease causing it to have limited travel or binding. There are many others that have this exact issue.
