I just installed these Rampage 5" nerf bars on my CrewMax. These bad boys attached using the factory bolts - and used 7 bolts per side (the front bracket only attaches using a single bolt). HOWEVER - it wasn't a case of just attaching 7 bolts either side. First you have to bolt the brackets to the truck, then you assemble the nerf bars (attach the end caps). Then you fit the nerf bars on to the brackets and bolt in place using 2 nuts and bolts per bracket.
Don't expect the bars to necessarily come pre-assembled. I'm not a mechanic, I don't even normally change my own brake pads. So this was a task for me (not having a well equipped tool kit with 2 sockets the same size etc - having to use plumbers grips and a socket ). It took a total of around 2 hours to install - including aligning them and leveling them. As I stated I didn't have the right tools for the job, so it took a lot longer. I figure it should take an hour with the right tools.

I paid $289, and they look awesome!
