I had ONE black car . . . never again! You spend most of your time trying to keep it black plus, with the intense desert sun, the clear coat will probably begin peeling in a couple of years.

White is practical but as boring as vanilla ice cream. Red . . . well, get a light bar and then you can make some extra bucks as a firefighter (which I am).

Blue? C'mon! No real truck would be seen dead in blue. Blue is for Smurfs, Civics, and Kias! And any truck in green does nothing for me. Unless you happen to work for the Forest Service.

The 'mica' series has been done to death. I like the metallic slate which has a subtle dark bluish overtone in sunlight.

Well, okay, a little blue is not bad.
Hey my current truck is blue!! Bright Blue!, In fact my son calls it big blue!
It was a new color for 2003.. Thats why I went with it, and with some tinted windows.. It looks pretty sharp.. Even at 4 years old.

I like the metallic slate, but my fiance is going to buy a 4 runner that color, and I have a mazda6 that color.. so can't have three vehicles that color..
