No Driverside Oh S@#t handle

I just realized that my truck doesn't have a handle on the inside of the driver side to help with getting in once lifted. and I really don't want to always use the steering wheel, does anyone have a mod for this? Thanks

I hear the drivers side handle in the sequoia is an exact match. But no one has tested yet.

Funny you posted this. I was at my friends house yesterday and he has a 13 tundra. I took my side trim off and his fits with the handle. The only thing is, the bottom bolt for the handle isnt there... BUT!!!! the block is there where it would have been welded to so that means you can use a slip nut. I am actually ordering the trim and handle as soon as the dealer opens this morning. On my 1794, because of the tweeter in the dash, I have to trim a small amount off of the new plastic (that is where it slides in the dash and you wont see). I will do a write up when I get the parts.

Yes, I know that. I used the handle for 6 years in my 07. It is a habit. I still go for it when getting in and out. I'll get enjoyment out of it being there and that is all that matters.

It's hard on the steering column though. Most of us probably won't keep a vehicle long enough to matter, but you should see how much play is in some of the trucks and tractors I work on.

Pillar trim:
62220-0c050-E0 for SAND
62220-0C050-B0 for GRAY

Handle:

74610-0C081-E0 For SAND
74610-0C081-B0 for GRAY

I think... lol may want to double check those yourself though.

Sure, if it's a 40 year old vehicle. I'm a 6'1 315 lb former offensive lineman and have been yanking on my steering column to get in my trucks for years. Not once have I ever had an issue in a Ford, Chevy, or Toyota.

That is good to know that the steering wheel will hold up. I just want to add it because I like it and am used to it.
