I tow a 27 foot Aerolite camper and a 27 foot enclosed United snowmobile trailer. Each of these trailers tow easily. With the camper, I use a eight distibuting hitch but but don't have it very tight. The crosswinds don't effect it as much with this hitch. The camper weighs about 5500 pounds loaded. With this hitch also I can open the tailgate to get into the box. With the snowmobile trailer I just use a standard reciever hitch and it works fine. This trailer sits a little lower and is narrower with a v-nose. This trailer weighs 4000 pound empty and about 8000 fully loaded with 5 sleds. I can't open the tailgate with this trailer but store gear in the trailer anyway.
