Have been told it isn't the paint but the amount of layers of clear coat. I have owned a 94 & 99 Camry (Red & Black). Currently own a 91 4x4 and a 05 Tundra. Always waxed the camrys and the Tundra twice a year with Mequir's paste wax. Curious? Do you ever see a bright red toyota 10 years old that was shinny or really any that did not have hood or roof issues? I think all car manufactures today skimp somewhere!!!
