I put the supercharger on myself but ran into problems with all of the hoses that had to be changed around.
Ened up having to have it towed into a dealership to have it finished. I have ran it for over 500 miles so the computer should have had enough time to adjust to the supercharger. I have a K&N Freash air intake with a new filter.
Here is the problem, I have to have to slowly push down on the gas pedal. I can not take off fast or when I am out on the highway I can not mash down on the peddle.
I have to do so slowly or the motor wants to jump around like it is losing power for a few seconds.
The dealership I went to does not seem to have much experience with the TRD supercharger and I am in a bind.
Also called the TRD hotline and the guy goes.
Maybe it's the cat-converter or a lose belt!
NO!
That was not the problem.
Anybody out there that actually knows something about these?
Could use the help
Thanks

I stumbled on this forum through a search. It has been a long time since you posted, have you found resolution to your problem? I wanted to ask if you in fact did also install the piggyback Electronics that TRD supplied with every Supercharger. I too purchased a used TRD Supercharger on Ebay and have thoroughly enjoyed the totally revamped character of my 2000 Tundra. The piggyback electronics monitors the vacuum sensing valve and adjusts the fuel supply as required for vacuum and boost. With the complete TRD Kit it works excellent.
