I put a 8' Curtis plow on my 08 sr5 5.7 with out the timbrens on my plow scraped the road when i hit big bumps, The plow is too heavy for the stock springs. I put them on in about 15 min. by hand tools so so easy! well after I put them on ,the truck keeps the plow up no scraping at all . And the travel of the front end is ok too, i have a dip in the ground in the back yard that i hit if i park my lawn trailer in the back yard. No biggie. if it is a problem I will put stock bump stops on in summer . Whats 15 min. The worst part about puting a plow on was that I had to cut out some of my front lower bumper plastic and the bar on the plow holder sticks out . erg but it is a work truck for me.
