I understand that, but my family has a similar cabin out in the woods that we use for hunting in the Minnesota north woods. It's about 30 miles from the main highway and about 15 miles of gravel roads. It sits out in some logging country and the nearest cabin is 3 miles away. But we still have bars on the windows and a big ass heavy duty door and lock with a metal cover to prevent prying.

I know that if someone wants in bad enough then thats what they will do. But having some security measures keeps most out if they were to try and come up with any ideas.

There is always some idiots driving around and exploring, they stumble upon the cabin and, well you get the idea.
