Yep, each sensor does indeed have its own serial number. However, the Toyota dealer only needed the serial number of the new sensor (replacing the broken one). They were able to get the serial number off the other 3 sensors via the VIN number on the truck. SO THEY SAY!
I go tomorrow to have the new sensor programmed and everything reset. We'll see how it goes.
By the way Discount Tire waived the fees on switching out the tires and have arranged to pay the 1 hour charge at the dealer for programming the sensor!
