I read this thread BEFORE I went to Discount Tire.
I showed up to have them take off my STEEL WHEELS
Then take the TPMS OUT OF THE STEEL WHEELS
Then have them put the TPMS ON MY ALLOY WHEELS
Then have them mount the alloy wheels
Discount Tire DISCOVERED that the TPMS from the steel wheels do not fit correctly on the alloy wheels. I told him that Discount Tire sells an adapter for $5.00 that allows the 20 degree fitment to be changed to 40 degrees for the alloy wheels (showed them a copy of post #26 of this thread). They're response...what adapter?
Discount Tires solution: they turned the TPMS upside down and mounted them. No problems, no issues, works like a charm.
However, in the future WHOEVER TAKES OFF ANY TIRE must be forwarned that the TPMS is turned outward. Can they remove a tire without harming the TPMS? Yes. But if they don't know about it each one will be snapped off.
In addition they were putting the last TPMS on and they BROKE it!
They ordered a new TPMS from the dealer, I will have to get the number off the new sensor, that matches the other sensors, so that I can go to the dealer and get them all programmed. Who is paying for all of this? Discount Tire.
Needless to say they DO NOT like any of the TPMS systems on the market.
Bottom line:
Steel wheels off and TPMS moved over to alloys
Alloys added with new BFG tires (new tires and rims bought on Craigslist for $600.00)
Happy customer!

Discount Tire, not so happy
