I understand your point , but my question is how much colder is the air being drawn thru a hose at say 55 mph versus thru the opening in front of the box ?
At lower speeds I agree that it would be better , and you could make it work .
But I would want a smooth wall tubing going all the way to the intake .Is'nt pool hose kinda like dryer hose the way it's made ?
T.S.C or Farm & Fleet sells a 4" suction hose that would work perfectly I think for this application .If I did'nt have the fog lights I would mock it up and try it , but try to find an agriculture supply place for some hoses .
