Thank you for your reply...I did go to the Toyota dealership when they opened and the part was an easy find(I need both plastic ends and the price was just under $5Canadian each. I tad expensive, but hey, what can you do?
Another issue I have found. My temperature control knob in my truck will not go to maximum position. It feels like there is something preventing it from staying in the maximum cold position. When I turn it to maximum(with a little extra effort), it springs back to about 75%. I actually noticed that in the winter when I wanted to turn it to full maximum hot position, only it sprung back to about the 90% heat position.
I have looked under the dash and it looks like getting at the linkage is going to be a pain.
Anybody have any suggestions?
Tips at getting at the control or flap?
