Hub Centric Wheels

For those that have purchased aftermarket wheels, have you had any problems with vibration through the steering wheel because the wheels will not balance properly? If so, what wheels are you running on your truck?

I want to get a set of 18x9 inch aftermarket wheels for my Tundra, but I hestitate to do so because the last time I went with an aftermarket wheel for a previous toyota truck, I could never get the wheels to balance.

I went from shop after shop, and while the tires always appeared to be balanced on the shop's equipment, in time I would get this annoying vibration through the steering wheel.

Finally, a toyota tech told me that most aftermarket wheels are not "hub-centric" and that my aftermarket wheels probably were balanced based on the shop's equipment but unless they are "hub-centric" they cannot be balanced properly for a toyota.

I eventually went back to a toyota factory wheel and had no issues with vibration at all.
