Tundra vs. Downed Power Line at 55 mph.

Yep it happened late Saturday night on a dark stretch of road. I had the cruise set at 55 and was taking it easy when I notice a Jeep down in the ditch to the right and then on the left I see a flash of a transformer then a big bang and a smack on the front of the Tundra....I about crapped my pants. The power line was hanging across the road about 3 feet and before I realized what was going on I smacked it which caught her across the headlight, front grill and the cable then slung around the driver's side scraping and dinging all the way back to the tail gate. I do a quick u turn and go back to the scene, I get out and look at the front of my truck and start to get sick to my stomach....still pisses me of just thinking about it. I guess the kid fell asleep, left the road and snapped the utility pole in half and then was denying to the cop he even hit the pole and the line was already down. There was plenty of evidence that showed he was wrong so the cop gave the kid a ticket and then gave me a separate accident case number linking back to his. Once I get the case report I am going to let my insurance battle with his to refund my deductible. I got her in the shop today and am driving a rabbit for a rent a car, at least I will be getting some good gas mileage. And I will have to say...I feel lucky I was in the Tundra, if I were to have been in a car it would have been a different story that ends up with no head for me...bad deal.
Here are some pics and then of the kids Jeep. Ohh and I guess I will be redoing the black headlight mod when she comes back from the shop.
