The clay bar is going to strip any contaminats of the car. its not meat to be a scratch remover. after claying, then you can use a polish or a scrach remover to get those blemishes out. Also, make sure to keep the surface lubricated w/ a spray detailer or even water when you are claying your truck. If you drop the clay bar on the group, just throw it out cuz it will scratch your truck after it ahs hit the ground. my recommendation. cut the clay bar into 3 pieces. so if you drop one you still have 2 more that are clean. Clay portions at a time and wipe it down. dont do the whole truck then wipe
