so I just baught a new jl audio slash 300/2. Long story short the noise I was hearing was from the rca output of my pioneer 800bt.
I guess a fuse or something blew inside the HU
, so I just put some speaker wire around the rca outputs and tied that into the HU's ground wire that goes to solid metal under my dash. Problem solved and man these speakers get REALLY LOUD!!!
, and are perfectly clear even when pushing 100+ watts each!!!!
