Went to Discount tire today to get my alloy rims and tires put on. Hated the steel wheels. They said they would put on the sensor "rebuild kits" for alloys and everything would be fine. I had also called the number of the Discount tire in Texes and he said they do the same thing...I think I talked to a shaun? I was pumped....until they broke my sensor! About five guys looked at the wheels and sensors and they said the angle of the steel wheel sensors will not work in the alloys. They also said without the proper sensors anyone would be taking a costly risk. Discount tire is buying me a new sensor for me from my Toyota dealer because of no aftermarkets. They also put everything on for free!!! It looks like I will have to deal with the little pain in the @ss light!
