Without starting a pissing match, it likely is a road hazard. I work for Goodyear and get to show people the nail and/or puncture holes in their OE tires that just "blew out" for no reason and they knew for a fact that they did not run over a nail/foreign object. Road hazards are not covered under any type of Mfc's warranty. Typically Goodyear would offer a one time 50% concession and suggest you purchase a Road Hazard plan.
