Blowing all of his tax free money? Umm I have a degree and a full time job that pays pretty well thank you very much! He and I have saved for the down payment just like we would if he was here – that’s what you do in a marriage. That’s what we did for his car. As far as him knowing that this truck is being purchased... he has been part of the process every step of the way. I haven’t made one moved without talking to him first. In fact HE is the one that told me to have the numbers run while I wanted to wait. This has been the plan long before he left in order to save miles in his car. He and I even test drove one before he left so that he would know what WE were getting into. Trust me he's taken care of! I've had the suspension and wheels installed that he ordered for his car, he'll be getting a new bumper and upgrading the turbos. So do me a favor don’t compare me to those nasty wives that takes advantage of their husband being deployed because I am the polar opposite and it offends me that you are insinuating that I am.
